From an Interview with Ione Werthman, 2008 winner of the Howard L. Wiegers Nebraska Outstanding Conservation Award. At 83, Ione is a long time environmentalist and a former board member of the National Audubon Society. In the early 1990s she helped save a 25 acre wetland in the middle of Omaha, Nebraska from development. Instead of a housing complex, the property became Heron Haven, an urban wildlife and nature preserve.

Music by Tom Joad including Frosty Morning, Bonaparte Crossing the Rhine, Bonaparte's Retreat, Shady Grove and Golden Slippers
